Exactly who are these new faces at Foothills??
January 28, 2016
Have you been wondering who these new faces running around Foothills are? They are physical therapy students and we love having them here and hope you do too!
Foothills Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center is not just a place for healing it is also a place for learning. We have earned the trust of local colleges who know that their students can get a great head start on their careers with training from our physical therapy staff. We take pride in helping train and educate the future generation of physical therapists.
Here is a little more information about the 2 physical therapy students, Kaitlin and Craig, who will be helping our physical therapy staff for a few more weeks:
“My name is Craig Broadbent and I am currently a Physical Therapy student at the University of Tennessee – Memphis. I will graduate in May (thank goodness!) and I received my undergraduate degree in Sports Management at the University of Tennessee- Knoxville. I am an avid golfer, enjoy being outdoors, love hiking and camping and being social on the weekends. But most of all I love helping others and physical therapy is my calling for that. Several years ago as a patient for knee rehabilitation I loved seeing how grateful patients were, myself included, for their physical therapists helping them get back to the things they enjoy doing and healing them from their pain. As a future Physical Therapist my hope is to give every patient the same gratification and help them any way that I can. I am greatly enjoying my time with Foothills and look forward to meeting you!” – Craig
“My name is Kaitlin Wallace and I am from West Knoxville and currently a Physical Therapy student at East Tennessee State University and in my second year. I decided that I wanted to become a physical therapist as a child. My mother worked in a Physical Therapy Clinic so I am familiar with the profession and got to see patients come in that were told they would never walk again to being able to walk a few months later. This fueled my passion in physical therapy and has made it my dream job. I am excited to continue learning more here at Foothills and look forward to meeting you!” – Kaitlin
